Mail - Configure incoming and outgoing mail in Outlook

Note:
These instructions only apply to Landau identifiers!

To set up an email account in Outlook, proceed as follows:

1. Select "File" --> "Account settings" from
2. Under the "Email" tab, select "New..." or "Change..." from
3. Enter your data as shown in the following image:

4. select the "Further settings" button at
5. under the "Outgoing mail server" tab, "The outgoing mail server (SMTP) requires authentication" must be selected. You must use the same settings here as for the incoming mail server.

6. you should now make the following settings in the "Advanced" tab:

In Outlook, the setting
Encryptionalso works for IMAP: TLS
Port: 143
If the automatic detection of the connection type does not work, you must set up the SMTP port 587 with "TLS".

7. now your account is set up and after checking your entries you can send and receive emails.
