Since the latest versions of Thunderbird, an add-on is no longer required for synchronization. As soon as you create an account with a Campus Landau ID, you should automatically receive a selection option to integrate your calendar and address books.

After setting up your user account, newer Thunderbird versions will automatically take you to a setup page where you can choose to synchronize additional accounts. Normally it should be sufficient to simply wait a short time. You should then be given a selection to choose calendars and address books:

If you click on Address books and calendars here, you can synchronize the desired calendars from your SOGo account directly:

Click on "Connect to external calendar".

Select "In the network" in the following window.

Now enter your URZ user ID as the user name. Enter the address uni-landau.deas the address.

After a short time you will be asked for login details for your e-mail account:

You can then select your calendars as required and confirm with "Subscribe":
