You can create an out-of-office message to automatically reply to incoming emails during an absence, such as vacation or illness.
Prerequisite for these instructions:
- The URZ user ID has been set up(What is the URZ user ID?)
Create an out-of-office message:
1. call up the link https://sogo.uni-landau.de
2. enter the following input data and start the login process by clicking on the"Login" button:
User name: the URZ user ID
Password: the password associated with the URZ user ID
6. select the option"Activate automatic out-of-office message".
7. check the box "Subject for automatic out-of-office message". 8. enter a subject for the message .

9. enter the message to be used to automatically reply to incoming emails in the"Automatically reply to every incoming email with the following message" input field. Make sure that there is no "." at the end, otherwise this may cause problems.
10 . enter the e-mail address for which an out-of-office message is to be set up in the"E-mail addresses (separated by commas)" input field.
11. you can enter the date when the absence rule is active in"Switch on automatic absence notification on" and"Switch off automatic absence notification on". Please note: The specified date mustalways be in the future.
Note: If you use the "Switch off automatic out-of-office message at...." function, no more out-of-office messages will be sent from the date entered, even if the out-of-office message is still activated in the settings. You can recognize this by the red arrow which is displayed next to the letter symbol. To make this disappear, you must deactivate the out-of-office message manually in the settings.
